Enhanced Salp Swarm Algorithm for Optimizing the Shape of Developable Bézier-Like Surfaces

The shape optimization of developable surfaces is a key and difficult technology in CAD/CAM. This paper studies the generalized Bézier-like using improved salp swarm algorithm. First, aiming at problems slow convergence speed low calculation accuracy, quickly falling into optimal local solution for algorithm, by adjusting control parameters, added Morlet wavelet mutation strategy to individual position updates operation. An algorithm proposed, called FMSSA short. Numerical results show that performed best among 18 (78%) comparisons with other SSAs CEC2005 test set. In addition, serves 16 (69%) algorithms. Therefore, computational accuracy are improved, significantly better than intelligent Second, according duality principle point plane, problem surface transformed minimization arc length, energy, curvature change rate dual curve, three models established. Finally, expandable mathematically an intelligence can efficiently handle, so used solve these models. experiments obtains solving models, demonstrating superiority proposed effectively terms precision robustness.
